Visit to Cartoon Network

Wednesday I spent late afternoon at Cartoon Network, were a Steve Keene art exhibit was about to unveil on the first floor...

The third floor has a lot of empty cubes as Camp Lazlo is wrapping post production and a manager says at this point there's no plan to do more episodes. Down on the second floor, the Foster's animation crew is hard at work, while on the first, the last bits of Class of 3000 is wrapping up. (I'm not giving any kind of comprehensive overview of shows in work here; just some bits and pieces.)

The Brooklyn artist Steve Keene was rolling out an exhibit of paintings in and around the CN lobby; I found out that the recent death of Jennifer Davidson seemed to be caused by a bad bacteriological infection. CN honcho Brian Miller was back east for the funeral.
