Animated Feature Grosses To Date

No matter how you slice it, animated entertainments have been amazingly consistent with domestic box office:

The Lorax -- $214,030,500

Madagascar 3: Escape to Europe -- $211,252,716

Brave -- $225,967,000

Ice Age: Continental Drift -- $139,339,000 ...

The U.S./Canada under-performer appears to be the latest installment of Ice Age, but "under performance" is a relative term. The feature will end up in the neighborhood of $150 million, and everywhere else in the known world it's making the turnstiles twirl at a high rate of speed.
